Jason Day is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.
Born on November 12, 1987, in Beaudesert, Queensland, Day became a golf prodigy early on.
He turned professional in 2006 and quickly gained attention from the golf world.
His career breakthrough came in 2015 when he won the PGA Championship, his first major, and became the world number one.
Day held the number one ranking for a total of 51 weeks.
He has achieved a total of 17 tournament victories, including significant wins at the coveted Players Championship and WGC-Dell Match Play.
Injuries have impacted his career, as well as suffering from vertigo, but Day is still considered to be one of the best players in the world.
His reported net worth is around $50m. He is married to Ellie Harvey and the couple have five children.
