Presidents Cup: Meet the wives and girlfriends on the International team

GolfMagic has listed each of the WAGs of captain Mike Weir and the 12 players on his International team at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada.

The Internationals are looking to win their first Presidents Cup match since Royal Melbourne in Australia all the way back in 1998.

Overall the United States, this year led by captain Jim Fuyrk, own a record of 12-1-1 in the biennial contest.

Wives and girlfriends on the 2024 Presidents Cup team

Captain: Mike Weir | Wife: Michelle Money

Weir and Money first met by chance back in 2016.

Michelle, who was formerly married to Brian Money, is a native of Salt Lake City.

She was a popular contestant on the 15th season of 'The Bachelor' in 2011.

Michelle also made appearances on the 'Bachelor Pad' and 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

Money then introduced her social media following to eight-time PGA Tour winner Weir, who remains the only Canadian to ever win a major title coming at the 2003 Masters, in 2016. 

They then announced their engagement on social media in early 2023 and tied the knot in Hawaii less than a year later. 

Michelle Money is the mother of daughter Brielle, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ryan Money, while Weir shares two daughters Elle and Lili with former wife Bricia Weir.

Not much is known about Matsuyama's wife, Mei.

Despite his success, the golfer likes to keep a low-profile off the course. 

Mastuyama surprised reporters in 2017 shortly after he claimed the Northern Trust Open that he was married.

"No one really asked me if I was married, so I didn't have to answer that question," he said at the time. 

No details are in the public domain about where they tied the knot or how he popped the question.

Very little is known about Im's wife Albin Cho, but what we do know is that he gave each of his wedding guests a very special gift at the end of 2022: a Scotty Cameron putter.

Im confirmed he got hitched via his official Instagram page just before Christmas in 2022. 

At the time Im wrote on social media: "Thank you again to everyone who congratulated me. From now on, I will live harder and happier. Thank you."

It is believed Im signed each and every putter himself. It's not known how many guests attending their special day or how much he spent.

Former Masters champion Scott is married to Swedish architect Marie Kojzar.

Marie was born and raised in Stockholm and went to the esteemed Royal College of Art in London.

It is believed they met in 2001 when Marie worked as a nanny for Danish professional golfer and former Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjorn.

They dated on and off until 2008 when they split up.

Marie and Adam got back together five years later, shortly be the golfer claimed his maiden major championship triumph at the Masters at Augusta National. 

Marie and Adam said 'I do' in a secret wedding in the Bahamas a year later.

The former world number one told the Associated Press in 2014: "I am a settled-down man and very happy.

"It was just our family and a few friends and obviously there are a lot of people we would have liked to have had been there who weren't, but we decided to have a very low-key affair."

Of his bride, he added: "She doesn't need a traditional wedding dress to look so beautiful. We dressed up a little bit, but it was still in the back yard.

"It was more about not building it up into something too big that may have gotten out of hand, but it was a fun event for everyone who was there and hopefully we will have fun celebrating with other friends when we catch up with them."

Player: Jason Day | Wife: Ellie Day

Ellie Day, formerly Ellie Harvey, was working as a waitress in her hometown of Ohio when she first met Day, who was 17 at the time. 

They then dated a year later. 

Ellie and Jason got married in October 2009.

They share five children - Dash, Lucy, Arrow, Ozzie and Winnie.

Ellie works as a the presidents of the 'Brighter Days Foundation', which works to meet basic needs and give hope and support to child-serving organisations in Ohio.

An is married to Choi Hee-Jae, who goes by the name Jamie. 

They tied the knot in 2018 at the Shilla Hotels and Resorts in Seoul, South Korea.

Talking about her husband, Jamie Hee-Jae An once said: “He’s the nicest guy ever, and he’s funny. He has a little bit of a cynical sense of humor, but outside of golf, he’s very funny. He’s like a little bit childish, just like all of the other men.”

They share two children. 

Player: Corey Conners | Wife: Malory Conners

Conners married to his wife Malory in October 2018.

Corey and Malory first met each other at the end of high school.

Malory went to Laurier to became a teacher, while Corey went to Kent State, which is a five-hour drive away in Ohio.

But soon after graduation, Malory ended up leaving her teaching job in order to travel full time with Corey and help him pursue his career.

Malory is best remembered on the PGA Tour for her hilarious reactions en route to her man winning the Valero Texas Open in 2019.

Corey has praised his wife's support many times during his career.

He once said: "She's been my biggest fan for years and my biggest supporter. I'm really lucky to have her by my side.

"It's pretty cool to see her in the spotlight a little bit. Her reactions were awesome."

They welcomed their first child into the world, baby girl Reis, in November 2021.

Lee and his girlfriend Gracie Drennan have been dating since 2019.

Drennan, a fellow Australian, is a Product and Design Coordinator for SPELL, a retail apparel and fashion company.

She attended South Metropolitan TAFE, a college in the Australian city of Murdoch.

It is understood she earned an Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design, after studying fashion design and merchandising.

Lee has raised plenty of eyebrows this week by shaving the initials I.N.T. into the side of his head.

Not much is known about Bezuidenhout's wife other than her name is Kristen Hart.

Kristen graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. 

They share a son, John. 

Christiaan, Kristen and John recently moved permanently to the United States after the South African became a full member of the PGA Tour. 

Player: Taylor Pendrith | Wife: Meg Beirnes

Pendrith married his long-time girlfriend Meg Beirnes in October 2021.

They first met in 2016.

Meg was a local hero during the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020

She worked as a registered nurse in the hematology and stem cell transplant department at the Hamilton (Ontario) General Hospital. 

They had their first child in 2022, a son named Hayes.

Hughes and his wife Jenna Shaw married in 2016.
