Jason Day has divided opinion yet again with his choice of Malbon Golf apparel during the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Day, 37, was rocking a rather interesting full sweatsuit groutfit for the final round of the iconic PGA Tour event on Sunday.

A groutfit, for those none the wiser, is an outfit consisting entirely of grey.

Day's final round scripting certainly appeared to split opinion with PGA Tour fans on X / Twitter during the final round.

"Comfortable AF," wrote one golf fan.

"Looks like he's just got straight out of bed LOL," commented another fan.

"Becoming more of a fan of JDay," tweeted one.

"Trackie bums, love it!" said Sky Sports Golf's Nick Dougherty during the final round broadcast.

One tweeted: "This is getting out of hand now."

"Just awful," commented another.

"He's gone too far now," tweeted one fan.

"I'm guessing if I show up at Pebble and plop down my $700 for a round, the pros going to have an issue with me wearing my sweatpants," joked one PGA Tour fan.

"Yeah a sweatsuit ain't the one," wrote another.

Day ended up finishing in the middle of the pack at Pebble Beach.

The Australian's latest controversial look comes a week after he was told by PGA Tour officials to tape up the giant Malbon Golf logo on the back of his jumper prior to the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

The PGA Tour allows players to have logos on the front, side and back of their cap, and the left and right side on their tops and on the collar.

But the logos must be within certain dimensions, and it was deemed the Malbon Golf lettering fell foul of this rule - and so he was asked to do something about it.

Day also landed himself in hot water at the 2024 Masters Tournament.

When Day rocked up to famed Augusta National for the second round of The Masters last April donning a Malbon sleeveless jumper with the words 'Malbon Golf Championship' on, the former World No.1 was asked to remove it by tournament officials midway through his round.

That was once again because of the size of the Malbon Golf lettering on his apparel.

The 2015 US PGA champion appeared confused at first but duly took off his jumper as he played the back nine.

Day joined Malbon Golf in early 2024 having previously been a Nike Golf ambassador for a number of years on the PGA Tour.
