"Didn't he sign up for that though?!' fans question Jon Rahm moaning about LIV Golf drones
Jon Rahm slammed an overhead drone after finding the water at LIV Golf Nashville, but all David Feherty could say was 'hmm'.
A large number of golf fans have ripped into Jon Rahm for blaming a noisy overhead drone for the reason he double-crossed his tee shot into the water during the final round of LIV Golf Nashville on Sunday.
Rahm, who reportedly signed a record-breaking $600m deal to join the Saudi-bankrolled circuit at the end of last year, has been consistently critical of overhead drones following a number of errant shots during his first season on LIV Golf.
In his latest rant, Rahm unleashed a couple of customary F-bombs on the 6th tee:
"Every tournament. It’s f***ing incredible.
"Right on my backswing.
"These f***ing drones every time.”
After hearing Rahm's excuse for double-crossing his tee shot into the ripples, all LIV Golf commentator David Feherty could reply with was: 'Hmm'.
Plenty of fans are questioning how Rahm can blame overhead drones when LIV Golf's strapline has forever been 'golf but louder'.
Others argue Rahm knew exactly what he was signing up to in regards to outside noise during competition - whether that be drones or even big EDM beats.
"Didn't he sign up for that though?" questioned one fan.

It should be noted Rahm isn't the only player to moan about drones putting them off this season, and not just on LIV Golf either.
Bob MacIntyre got stressy about drones en route to landing his maiden PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open earlier this month.
Rahm went on to make a double-bogey six on the par-4 6th en route to a final-round 68.
He finished the week T3, which marked an eighth top-10 finish in nine events for him on LIV Golf in 2024.
While there have been fairly consistent performances for Rahm, it has come as a surprise to a lot of critics that Rahm has yet to register an individual win in his debut LIV Golf season where he joined for a reported mammoth $600m fee.
But of course the season isn't over yet.
Rahm has looked a shadow of his former self in the majors this season with a T45 in his title defence at The Masters in April followed by a missed cut at the US PGA in May.
The two-time major champion then withdrew from the US Open due to a foot infection.
Rahm is not the only former World No.1 on LIV Golf struggling to find his best form right now.
While Dustin Johnson did pick up an individual win early on in the season, he has chalked up just one top-10 finish in his last 10 starts, which includes two missed cuts in the majors.
Rahm's Legion XIII team member Tyrrell Hatton saw out his first LIV Golf title in Nashville.
