The team captains for the 2026 Presidents Cup have been revealed.
Multiple PGA Tour winner Brandt Snedeker will lead the United States on home soil at Medinah Country Club.
His counterpart for the International side will be former U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy.
"The Presidents Cup has been a significant part of my career," Ogilvy said.
"Since Ernie Els debuted the shield in 2019, the International Team's spirit has intensified and grown as we have rallied around this symbol, which embodies our shared ambition and unifies both players and fans."
Ogilvy has featured for the International side in the Presidents Cup on five occasions. He has an overall record of 7-9-2.
He added: "I intend to carry that momentum forward, just as the captains before me have, to build strong support for our international players in the lead-up and throughout the event."
Snedeker has been an assistant at the Presidents Cup on four occasions. He played in one and also was part of the 2012 Ryder Cup team.
Paul Lawrie defeated Snedeker 5&3 in the Sunday singles as Europe mounted an improbable comeback at Medinah.
Snekeder has also been named one of Keegan Bradley's vice captains for the 2025 contest at Bethpage Black.
"It's a tremendous honour to be named U.S. team captain for the 2026 Presidents Cup by my peers," he said.
"And I'm looking forward to leading our guys into Medinah for what will certainly be an amazing week of golf.
"Representing my country in team competition has been a highlight of my PGA Tour career, and I will lean on those experiences to ensure we are prepared and ready to compete against what I know will be a unified and determined International Team."
The 2026 Presidents Cup will be played over 24-27 September.
The U.S. have utterly dominated the Presidents Cup and currently lead the International team 13-1-1.
Last September, the United States continued their dominance by cruising to an 18½-11½ win.
The team, skippered by Jim Furyk, led 11-7 before going into the final day.
The aforementioned Bradley secured the winning point at Royal Montreal in Canada.
