Jason Day WITB: What equipment does the former World No.1 use?

Multiple PGA Tour winner Jason Day uses a mix of clubs from various manufacturers. 

The former World No.1 became an equipment free agent in January 2021 following a multi-year association with TaylorMade.

Day still uses some of their equipment but has sprinkled in a few other interesting choices elsewhere. 

Let's take a look inside Day's 2025 set-up.

Driver

At the beginning of Day's career he was a TaylorMade staffer and he used their popular M3 driver and M6 fairway woods. 

Day now favours the PING G430 LST with a Mitsubishi Diamana WB 63 TX shaft. 

Fairway woods

Day is a fan of TaylorMade in this department, opting for the Qi10 (15°) and the Stealth (21°). For both, he uses a Mitsubishi Kuru Kage 80 X shaft. 

It looks as though he is currently settled with the TaylorMade SIM Max. 

Driving iron

Day's fairway-finder is the TaylorMade P790 2-iron with a KBS Tour Hybrid Prototype 105 S+ shaft. 

Irons

Day has a TaylorMade P790 4-iron whilst he games the P7TW elsewhere (5-PW). His irons have True Temper Dynamic Gold Shafts. 

Wedges

Day has long been thought of as one of the best short game players in the world. 

He's a fan of Cleveland wedges but currently uses the Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (52°, 56°). 

His lob wedge is a Titleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks (60°). 

Putter

Day has been using the TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Spider Limited Red for several years. He used it in 2015 when he captured the PGA Championship and has won five PGA Tour titles with the black edition.
