Tyrrell Hatton lands first LIV Golf title with dominant display in Nashville
England's Tyrrell Hatton captures both individual and team honours at LIV Golf Nashville.
England's Tyrrell Hatton captured his first LIV Golf League title with a dominant display in Nashville, United States.
Hatton, 32, closed with a 6-under 65 to finish the week on 19-under par and six shots clear of his compatriot Sam Horsfield.
His Legion XIII captain Jon Rahm was a further shot back in T3 alongside Joaquin Niemann, Lee Westwood and Bryson DeChambeau.
The victory marks the eighth of Hatton's pro career to add to his solo PGA Tour title and six DP World Tour titles.
Hatton led by three shots heading into the final round courtesy of playing the final seven holes in a fantastic 6-under par.
He then kept his foot firmly on the gas on Sunday with eight birdies in a solid round of 65.
Hatton also played a key role in helping Rahm's Legion XIII team win team honours for a third time this season.
Legion XIII, which also comprises Kieran Vincent and Caleb Surratt, saw out a five-shot victory on 40-under par.
Both Hatton and Rahm were caught on the hot mics in the final round.
Rahm blamed a drone, Hatton blamed the wind.
