Jon Rahm confirms massive personal news ahead of DP World Tour return
Jon Rahm's wife Kelley has given birth to their third child ahead of the Spaniard's return to the DP World Tour at the Open de Espana.
Jon Rahm's wife Kelley has given birth to their third child - a first daughter - ahead of the LIV Golf superstar's return to the DP World Tour at the Open de Espana this week.
The update was first confirmed by Marca.
Kelley and Jon have welcomed the birth of their first daughter after two boys Kepa, 3, and Eneko, 2.
Rahm, 29, was forced to withdraw from the Pro-Am on the eve of his home open but he left Arizona for Madrid on Tuesday and will now compete in the first round on Thursday.
He will be seeking a fourth victory at the Open de Espana having already etched his name on the trophy in 2018, 2019 and 2022.
Rahm's idol, late great Seve Ballesteros, also won the title three times in 1981, 1985 and 1995.
Angel de la Torre holds the all-time Open de Espana record of five victories between 1916 and 1925.
But it only became a European Tour event when the circuit was formed in 1972.

The former World No.1 also withdrew from LIV Golf's season-ending Team Championship in Dallas last weekend.
Though the official reason for his WD there was illness (flu symptoms).
Rahm was replaced by John Catlin as his Legion XIII went on to finish fourth.
A week previous, Rahm was crowned individual champion in his debut season.
Rahm joined LIV Golf for a reported $600m on a five-year deal through to the end of 2028.
But to the delight of his home fans, Rahm will make his long-awaited return to the DP World Tour at this week's Open de Espana at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
The 10-time DP World Tour winner will join Matthieu Pavon and Sepp Straka at 2pm local time in Thursday's first round.
He will then be off at 9.10am in the second round on Friday.

Jon Rahm is back on DP World Tour this week
Rahm was allowed to compete in this week's Open de Espana having appealed his fines on the DP World Tour.
The same scenario has applied to Rahm's Legion XIII and European Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton, who returned to the DP World Tour earlier this month at the British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Belfry.
Both Rahm and Hatton were fined by the former European Tour circuit for having competed on LIV Golf this season.
Rahm's fines are estimated to have now surpassed the $1m mark.
Hatton and Rahm's decision to appeal their fines and return to the DP World Tour is vital for their Ryder Cup hopes.
That's because they need to have played in at least four regular season events outside of the majors in order to maintain their DP World Tour membership and earn eligibility in Luke Donald's 2025 European Ryder Cup team.

In the latest update on the controversial subject, the appeals process could extend beyond the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black next September.
News also emerged last week the DP World Tour rejected LIV Golf's offer to pay off Rahm and Hatton's fines.
One DP World Tour pro told GolfMagic he was pleased with that decision and that the circuit should 'let them suffer'.
Hatton is also competing in the Open de Espana.
The Englishman tees off alongside Matteo Manassero and Jorge Campillo at 9am on Thursday.
As it stands, Rahm has only played in just one regular season event on the DP World Tour.
That came at the Olympics in Paris where Rahm threw away a four-shot lead heading into the back nine and did not even finish up on the podium.
Rahm is also expected to play at the Dunhill Links and the Andalucia Masters next month, which would ensure he fulfils his four regular events during the DP World Tour season.
Should Rahm progress into the top 70 in the DP World Tour Rankings come November, he will be eligible to compete in the the DP World Tour Playoffs.
The top 70 will compete in Abu Dhabi, with the top 50 after that then contesting the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
Rahm is currently ranked 126th in the DP World Tour Rankings, while Hatton in 94th.
