Pro Golf Critic has tweeted a wild rumour about all things LIV Golf and PGA Tour, and it's left plenty of golf fans raising eyebrows...

Pro Golf Critic understands 'there's a LIV Golf player that won't be back for 2025 that the PGA Tour is willing to bribe with exemptions and guaranteed money to talk bad about LIV next season.'

This unsubstantiated rumour falls during a period where the PGA Tour and DP World Tour are still attempting to thrash out a framework agreement with LIV Golf's bankrollers, the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF), in order to house all their commercial operations in a for-profit entity.

Many believe the deal will still happen, while others consider it won't ever get done.

A number of players have now been relegated from LIV Golf ahead of 2025.

One major champion is now lodging an appeal after being axed from the breakaway league.

Another is ready to call it quits on the league

Some players' three-year contracts are also now up so LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman will have a busy off-season on his hands to either keep hold of his stars or attract new ones, which sounds like it's still very much the plan to strengthen the roster ahead of 2025.

But in the latest update on what could transpire ahead of next season, Pro Golf Critic has raised plenty of eyebrows with his tweet about all things PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

GolfMagic knows nothing more about this unsubstantiated rumour, so cannot possibly comment on it any further at this stage.

Anyway, scroll below for PGC's tweet...

Pro Golf Critic understands:

"There's a LIVGolf-er that won't be back for 2025 that the PGA Tour is willing to bribe with exemptions and guaranteed $ to talk bad about LIV next season.

"Interesting turn of events.

"Don't think he will: has more integrity than that, I think.

"I wonder if the DOJ will like that?"

So who is Pro Golf Critic you ask?

Well PGC has been first to nail a number of huge LIV Golf scoops in recent times, none bigger than telling the golf world Jon Rahm was about to join the Saudi-bankrolled league six weeks before he actually did.

Rahm ended up signing a reported $600m contract over five years with LIV Golf.

PGC also informed his followers that Talor Gooch was going to be the next member of Smash GC well before the announcement.
