Watch Tiger Woods PUTT his ball into a bunker from 71 feet!
Tiger Woods managed to save a bogey after putting his golf ball into a bunker during the second round of the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational.
It's fair to say Tiger Woods has had an eventful return to PGA Tour action.
He sparked fresh controversy during the opening round of the Genesis Invitational when he played a 'prank' on his good buddy Justin Thomas.
Woods, 47, discreetly tried to pass a tampon to JT after outdriving him and the joke has received a mixed reaction.
NEW: Tiger says sorry for his prank
Golf's social media sensation Paige Spiranac thought it was funny and urged for Woods not to be cancelled over the incident.
And here's Sky Sports presenter Sarah Stirk with her take on the 'crass' moment involving the legendary golfer.
But back to the topic at hand and Woods was playing No. 6 at Riviera Country Club. He started his second round on the back nine.
It's a par-3 measuring 170 yards with a bunker placed in the middle of the green.
Woods thought he had done the hard part with his tee shot as his Bridgestone Tour B X landed on the top tier not too far away from the pin.
But only briefly.
It then trickled all the way back down to the front of the green some 71 feet from the cup. Oh, and the bunker was in the way!
Woods opted not to try and chip his second, instead reaching for his famed gamer. From there, he misjudged his putt.
Where is Cameron Smith when we need him?!
He quickly got into the bunker and played his third, leaving himself just inside 10ft for a bogey.
His playing partners Rory McIlroy and Thomas missed their birdie attempts but made pars.
Woods managed to save his bogey and dropped back to 1-under with three holes left to play of his second round.
We suppose you could argue from that position he was likely to drop a shot anyway!
Woods dropped a shot at the next hole to fall back to level par for the tournament. At the time of writing, the projected cut was 1-over par.
