TGL result: Results in full from Week 2 as Tiger Woods' team are heavily thrashed

Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links GC were heavily defeated 12-1 by Los Angeles GC in the second TGL match of the season on Tuesday 14 January. 

TGL, which stands for Tomorrow Golf League, is the brainchild of Woods, Rory McIlroy and their TMRW Sports business partner Mike McCarley.

Woods' Jupiter Links GC consists of himself as captain, Max Homa, Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim.

Los Angeles GC is made up of eatures Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. 

With TGL matches consisting of three players each, Kim and Fleetwood sat out due to their commitments to The American Express and Dubai Desert Classic respectively. 

The action got underway at the SoFi Center in Florida at 7pm EST (12:00am GMT) and it was once again broadcast on ESPN.

Woods found the water with Jupiter Links GC's fourth shot at the par-5 2nd and it went downhill from there if truth be told.

LA GC soon stretched into a 3-0 lead when Rose drained a 10-footer worth two points.

That was after the team dropped their first hammer, which doubles a point on a hole. 

Woods' team then went 5-0 down by the 3rd hole. That was after Jupiter Links dropped their own hammer, only for Kisner to inexplicably find the water. It led to a loss of hole and another two points for LA GC.

Jupiter Links GC finally got their first point on the board at the 6th after Theegala found the penalty area and Woods converted a 10-footer.

Woods' mother Tida raised her arm aloft in the crowd as she watched her son pour in the putt. 

That was unfortunately a rare positive moment for Jupiter Links though as they soon fell 8-1 down by the 9th hole after LA GC won the hole for two more points as a result of using their second hammer of the match. 

As the match turned to singles, it soon became 9-1 when Morikawa defeated Kisner on the 11th.

Woods then drove into water in his singles match with Rose on the 13th and that led to another loss of hole and a score of 10-1. 

Kisner then bladed a bunker shot over the other side of the green on the par-3 14th and Morikawa made par to make it 11-1.

"We might not break 100," said Woods as he played the 15th and final hole of the match.

LA GC went on to win the last hole to seal a dominant 12-1 victory. 

TGL officially launched on 7 January with The Bay trouncing New York 9-2. 

Shane Lowry hit the opening tee shot with Woods and Rory McIlroy watching from the stands and even joining the broadcast commentary team. 

Woods claimed TGL was a 'dream come true' and even made the declaration the league will launch golf 'into the stratosphere'.
