Sky Sports Golf confirms huge news ahead of Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy's new TGL
Sky Sports confirms it has become the exclusive new home for Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL presented by SoFI.
Sky Sports has today confirmed it has announced a two-year partnership with TGL, the brand new tech-infused golf league set up by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
The new indoor team golf league featuring PGA Tour stars tees off in January 2025.
Sky Sports Golf's new deal with TGL includes both 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The broadcaster has confirmed it will give customers in the UK & Ireland, DACH and Italy exclusive coverage of every single match of TGL.

"TGL is such an exciting and innovative new format that both existing and new golf fans can enjoy, and we're delighted to be part of the TGL journey from the start, bringing fans even closer to some of the greatest golf stars," said Sky Sports Golf director Jason Wessely.
"We're looking forward to working with TGL to make the tournament a truly entertaining viewing experience and are delighted to welcome TGL to Sky Sports, the home of golf."
TGL is a new tech-inspired golf league that has been set up by Woods, McIlroy and their TMRW Sports co-founder and CEO Mike McCarley.
"As the media home of golf in the UK and Ireland, Sky Sports is the ideal home for TGL to reach fans who are accustomed to turning to Sky to find the best golfers in the world on Sky Sports platforms across Europe," said McCarley.
"With five TGL golfers across four teams from the UK and Ireland, golf fans will have local players to watch and new teams to follow in this fast-paced version of golf that is rooted in the traditions of the game."
The indoor golf league starts up on 7 January 2025 and it will feature six teams comprising four PGA Tour players each.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler has declined to take part though.
Each of the TGL teams will play five matches with the top four teams advancing to the TGL Playoffs, a best of three series starting on 24 March.
