Rory McIlroy landed his first AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am title in his first event of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
McIlroy, 35, overturned a one-stroke deficit on Sepp Straka starting the day into a two-shot victory over his good friend Shane Lowry.
The Northern Irishman closed with a solid 6-under 66 en route to wrapping up his first PGA Tour title at famed Pebble Beach.
McIlroy finished the week on 21-under par.
The victory marked McIlroy's 27th title on the PGA Tour and earned him the small sum of $3.6m.
McIlroy has now gone eight consecutive years with a PGA Tour title to his name.
That is the longest current active streak.
European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald greeted McIlroy with a hug as he walked off the back of the 18th green.
McIlroy told CBS' Amanda Balionis:
"Some people would argue that the golf courses I have won on are not up to like a Pebble Beach or an Augusta National, but to win at one of the cathedrals of golf is really cool. I knew today was going to be tough and exciting, so many guys around the lead, I had with it being Pebble Beach put that to the back of my mind and shoot a good score which I managed to be able to do. It was cool to have that walk up 18 and take it all in."
The week was also a special one for McIlroy since he made the second hole-in-one of his PGA Tour career.
McIlroy made a slam dunk ace at Spyglass Hill in the first round on Thursday.

McIlroy landed the hammer blow on the back nine Sunday when converting a 30-footer for eagle on the par-5 14th.
He then followed that up with a birdie from three feet at the par-4 15th to extend his lead to four shots.
Lowry pegged the deficit back to three shots with a birdie on the 16th but it was too little too late for the 2019 Open champion as McIlroy strode comfortably to the finish line in California.
McIlroy played safe down the par-5 18th with an iron off the tee and he plodded his way down the hole sensibly to ensure there would be no late drama.
Lowry hit a glorious third shot from inside of 100 yards to five feet and he would convert the birdie putt to seal outright second on 19-under par.
McIlroy comfortably two-putted from 35 feet for par to see out a deserved two-shot victory on 21-under par.
That was just one shy of the tournament record (22-under, Brandt Snedeker, 2015).
England's Justin Rose eagled the par-5 18th to finish in a tie for third on 18-under par alongside Lucas Glover.
Rose holed out from 40 feet with a fairway wood from the front edge of the green.
America's Russell Henley and Australia's Cam Davis rounded out the top five on 17-under par.
Davis played arguably the shot of the final round from off a tree root!
Overnight leader Straka had a final round to forget with a lacklustre 72.
Straka ended the week in T7 alongside Tom Kim on 16-under par.
As something of a consolation to Straka, however, the Austrian moves to top spot in the season-long FedEx Cup standings.
Hideki Matsuyama drops back to second and McIlroy vaults up to third.
The final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was not without its fair share of controversy.
A number of PGA Tour fans lost their minds after seeing Jason Day's full sweatsuit groutfit.
Plenty were then enraged with the length of time Tom Kim took to play his second shot at the 6th only to eventually send his ball onto Pebble Beach.
The same could be said when Shane Lowry drilled a volunteer in the shoulder with his tee shot down the 15th, especially given he did not appear to shout FORE!
