Tom Kim gets roasted (!) for shocking slow play during AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am final round
"Not worth the wait" - NBC Sports commentator slams Tom Kim after watching him take an absolute age over his second shot on the 6th only for him to find Pebble Beach!
Golf fans and the NBC Sports commentary team have roasted Tom Kim after watching him take over a minute to play his second shot on the par-5 6th before sending his ball straight onto Pebble Beach.
Kim, 22, found himself in contention for a first title at famed Pebble Beach on Sunday but he was left to rue a shocking effort into the 6th.
After splitting the fairway, Kim had 210 yards into the green.
Kim then watched his playing partners play their shots before taking 42 seconds to approach his golf ball.
The three-time PGA Tour winner then took a further 23 seconds to address it.
At one stage it looked as though the TV screen had frozen.
But it hadn't. This is Tom Kim heritage.
It all added up to a total of one minute and five seconds and some 25 seconds over a player's allocated 40 seconds.
The wait wasn't even worth it either as Kim sent his ball way right onto the beach.
“That’s an awful lot of time to do that…” quipped an NBC Sports commentator.
Sky Sports Golf's commentary team echoed similar sentiments.
To make matters worse, Kim's group - which also included Justin Rose and Cam Davis - were put on the clock as they headed into the back nine.

Kim took his penalty stroke and went on to make a bogey.
He is currently trying to chase down Rory McIlroy on the back nine.

Kim's latest example of criminal slow play comes just 24 hours after Paige Spiranac hit out at golfers for "cheating" by taking longer than 40 seconds to play their shots.

LPGA legend and on-course CBS Sports commentator Dottie Pepper ripped into PGA Tour players as they made the turn during last Sunday's final round at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Pepper urged players to "have some respect" as they took three hours to play nine holes.
"Well said," replied CBS' Frank Nobilo.
