Paige Spiranac makes fresh 'cheating' claim following latest PGA Tour revelation
Golf social media sensation Paige Spiranac hits out at slow play in her most vocal rant yet. What do you make of Paige's latest claims?
Golf social media sensation Paige Spiranac believes anyone taking longer than 40 seconds to hit a golf shot is "cheating" and being "unbelievably disrespectful" to everyone else on the course.
Spiranac, 31, has been vocal critic of slow play and how it has quickly become the single biggest turn-off for her and many others.
Not just in the professional game, but across the amateur game too.
Paige's latest strong views on slow play come off the back of witnessing the final groups take in the region of 5 hour 30 minutes to complete their rounds on the PGA Tour last Sunday.

One year ago, PGA Tour pro Nate Lashley hit out at Spiranac's comments on slow play.
"I don’t like slow play at all but these courses are very difficult and there is a lot on the line," tweeted one-time PGA Tour winner Lashley.
"If Paige Spiranac would have played professionally at a higher level she would understand but I don’t think most people are watching these videos to see what she says."
It's fair to say Lashley's "sexist" comment did not sit well with Paige, and she rightly hammered him in a reply on her podcast.
Fast forward 12 months and Spiranac still believes nothing has been done to correct pace of play, despite the Tours admitting players are put on the clock when they continue to take longer than 40 seconds over a shot.
But Spiranac believes one offence is one offence too many and the Tours have to start coming down harder on slow players.
Just as they do in other sports.
Paige thinks golfers are "cheating" when they take longer than 40 seconds to play a shot.
Spiranac made her latest feelings be known off the back of consecutive weeks on the PGA Tour where the final groups have taken in the region of five and half hours to get round.
While Spiranac fully respects rounds of golf on the PGA Tour and LPGA will always take longer than rounds for amateurs, Spiranac considers five and half hours even for the professionals is far too long to be playing 18 holes.
LPGA legend and on-course CBS Sports commentator Dottie Pepper ripped into PGA Tour players as they made the turn during last Sunday's final round at the Farmers Insurance Open at famed Torrey Pines.
Pepper urged players to "have some respect" as they took three hours to play nine holes.
"Well said," replied CBS' Frank Nobilo.
Spiranac could not have agreed any more.
It was revealed the final group, which featured winner Harris English, had ended up taking 5 hours and 29 minutes.
A week previous at The American Express, the final group comprising winner Sepp Straka, took just shy of 5 hours and 40 minutes.
Many golf fans believe the lethargic pace of play seen on the PGA Tour is contributing to current dwindling TV viewing figures.
Even Tiger Woods - the founder of TGL - committed the first shot clock violation on his new tech-infused golf league earlier this week.
That made a few ardent LIV Golf fans chuckle.
There have been recent calls for a shot clock to be fully implemented on the PGA Tour to help improve pace of play.
Tour pro Eddie Pepperell has questioned whether it would really work though.
Rory McIlroy admits his idea to improve pace of play will "p*** some people off".
Spiranac concludes any amateur golfer taking longer than four hours to play 18 holes "has no room to complain about pace of play in professional golf."

Spiranac said in her latest video:
"I posted that if you yourself cannot play golf in four hours then you have no room to complain about the pace of play in professional golf, and people started to defend slow play real fast let me tell you. They were like you know what I have more shots so I should get more time. I have to get my hot dog and my drinks at the turn, I need time to flirt with the cart girl and light up a stogie. I am 300 yards out on a par-5, I deserve to wait. So I feel like we should talk about slow golf. I hate slow play, I despise it. I am on the extremist end of hating slow play and here's why... in the rules of golf you have 40 seconds to hit a golf shot. No one needs more than 40 seconds. In other sports you have an allotted amount of time and if you exceed that time limit then you are instantly penalised and that should happen in golf. It is cheating and it is unbelivably disrespectful to every single person in your group and to others on the golf course. I'll say this... tournament golf will always take longer than leisurely golf but that doesn't mean it still needs to be over five hours. That is unacceptable. I have played junior golf, college golf, professional golf, fun golf on public courses to country clubs, and slow golf is an issue across the board. So always remember this... if you're good, play fast. If you're bad, play faster."
Where do you stand on pace of play? Is it the biggest issue in our sport?
