Rickie Fowler caddie: Who carries the sticks for the PGA Tour star?
Rickie Fowler caddie: Who carries the sticks for the PGA Tour star? Here is everything you need to know about Ricky Romano.
Rickie Fowler's caddie is Ricky Romano.
Romano was hired by the PGA Tour star in October 2022 following the golfer's split with Joe Skovron.
Fowler and Skovron worked together for 13 years before their partnership came to an end.
Their split came as a shock considering Skovron had been on the bag for Fowler since he decided to turn professional in 2009.
But the duo remain good friends and - after a brief stint with Tom Kim - Skovron is now carrying the sticks for European star Ludvig Aberg.
Skovron was present throughout Fowler's impressive rise in the game.
They lifted numerous PGA Tour titles together, including the biggest win of his career at the 2015 Players Championship.
With Skovron on the bag, Fowler reached a career-high No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Skovron also carried the sticks for Fowler in four Ryder Cup appearances.
Cobra fitter Ben Schomin briefly filled in for Fowler before he linked up with Romano.
What did Rickie Fowler say about his split with Joe Skovron?
When Fowler split with Joe Skovron, he told GOLF there were 'no hard feelings'.
He just felt like it was time for a change as he was struggling with his game considerably.
During this period, Fowler also decided to start working with legendary instructor Butch Harmon again.
"I told Joe I wasn't really gonna go into details on who brought up the decision or who made the decision or anything like that," Fowler previously said.
"We've always been a team, we always will be, he's like a big brother to me. Friendship and all that comes first.
"No hard feelings or anything like that, I just thought it was maybe the best option for the current time, but by no means does this mean we're not gonna rekindle the flame in the future or anything like that, but I know it's been tough on both of us."

Romano played golf at the University of Houston.
Romano told The Caddie Network: "I've played the game of golf since I was three years old.
"I've played at every level, including six years professionally. I currently carry a +3 handicap.
"I feel the strongest part of myself as a caddie is reading greens, decision-making and course management."
What is it like to caddie for Rickie Fowler?
Romano previously told GOLF's Subpar: "Rick is amazing to caddie for, just the way that he treats you, as opposed to other guys I've worked for, who can give it to you bad. Which I understand.
"You've got to give it to somebody. You're hitting the shots, but if it's not you, it's me. I get it. I totally get it. But Rick's not like that. Rick is different.
"The guy is such a genuinely nice, good dude. And I can say that — it's not a made-up thing.
"It's not like, people are like, he's been grilled on this, this is how you have to act.
"This is Rick, this is how he acts. He just gets it. It's very special to caddie for Rick, and I don't take it for granted at all."
Outside of golf, Romano is a fan of bass fishing, but the biggest fish he has ever caught was a 564lb thresher shark.
He also enjoys surfing and closely follows the World Surf League.
