Cleeks GC are set to undergo a 'full rebrand with a Scandinavian theme' ahead of the 2025 LIV Golf League season, according to popular social media account Flushing It

The team currently comprises Martin Kaymer as captain, Richard Bland and Adrian Meronk.

Kaymer did have Kalle Samooja on his team but the Finnish player got relegated from LIV Golf this season.

He joined Scott Vincent, Kieran Vincent, Branden Grace and Bubba Watson in being booted from the league, albeit two-time Masters champion Watson is expected to be invited back in 2025.

Samooja and the other relegated players can still find a way back onto LIV Golf for next season by winning the LIV Promotions event.

After finishing 11th at the Team Championship, Cleeks GC is now focused on ringing some big changes ahead of 2025.

Flushing It has confirmed a 'full reband with 'a Scandinavian theme' is likely to take place at Cleeks GC for 2025.

That could possibly pave the way for some transfer activity on the Cleeks given there is currently no Scandinavian player on the team.

We will let you speculate as to which Scandinavian player could be in line for a move to Cleeks GC.

GolfMagic understands several PGA Tour and DP World Tour players are in talks with LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman at the moment, so we will have to wait and see just how many new deals get completed by 2025.

This off-season marks an important period for the professional game in light of the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) still banging their heads together on finalising a framework agreement.

Flushing It has also confirmed four LIV Golf teams will remain unchanged for 2025.

Those four teams are as follows:

  • Crushers GC (Bryson DeChambeau, Anirban Lahiri, Paul Casey, Charles Howell III)
  • Torque GC (Joaquin Niemann, Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz, Carlos Ortiiz)
  • Majesticks GC (Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, Sam Horsfield)
  • Ripper GC (Cam Smith, Marc Leishman, Matt Jones, Lucas Herbert)

GolfMagic has also had it confirmed by an insider on LIV Golf that the Majesticks GC will remain unchanged for 2024.

For those of you that caught a wild social media rumour from a LIV fan account about Tyrrell Hatton being linked with a move to Majesticks GC, GolfMagic understands from an insider that is 'absolute nonsense'.

However, Flushing It adds 'big changes are expected' on Majesticks GC in 2026, so we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Hatton currently plays on Jon Rahm's Legion XIII side, which also comprises Caleb Surratt.

Kieran Vincent was also the team but he got relegated in 2024.

Rahm confirmed at the Andalucia Masters he is currently speaking to 'six or seven players' about taking the final spot on his team.

Flushing It has also confirmed that wildcard Hudson Swafford's time on the LIV Golf League has now come to an end.

Another wildcard in Anthony Kim, however, is expected to return to the LIV Golf League.

GolfMagic understands Kim is highly likely to join a LIV Golf team for the first time in 2025.

The first LIV Golf League event of 2025 will begin in Riyadh in the first week of February.
