As it stands, Rahm's Legion XIII is down to just three players as a result of Kieran Vincent being relegated from the LIV Golf League this season.
Despite being booted out of the Saudi-bankrolled circuit for now, Vincent can play his way back onto the breakaway league by earning one of three spots via the LIV Promotions event later this year.
Vincent will not be re-joining Legion XIII though if he does return.
Legion XIII is currently made up of Rahm, his European Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton and rising star Caleb Surratt.
Rahm not only addressed speculation about the new member on his LIV Golf team for 2025 but also explained he would be keen to sign a Callaway staff player in a bid to convince the brand to come on board and partner with Legion XIII.
How Hatton would feel about that - given he is currently a PING staff player - remains to be seen.
Putting two and two together off the back of Rahm's latest comments, and a number of fans believe he may very well have his eyes on his Spanish compatriot and Callaway staff player Angel Hidalgo, who defeated him in a playoff at the Open de Espana earlier this month.
Rahm is also playing alongside Hidalgo for the opening two rounds of this week's Andalucia Masters at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.
Rasmus Hojgaard, another Callaway staff player, makes up the three-ball.
Other fans have hinted Rahm is likely considering another Callaway Spaniard target in Adri Arnaus.
Rahm's latest comments about his LIV Golf team come a week after his compatriot Sergio Garcia confirmed to GolfMagic that one of his players would be leaving Fireballs GC.
