Jon Rahm has confirmed he and his wife Kelley Cahill have chosen to name their baby daughter Alaia Cahill Rahm.

Rahm shared some adorable pictures with mother and baby on 1 October.

Alaia was born last week, days after Rahm was forced to withdraw from LIV Golf's Team Championship in Dallas with the flu.

After she was born, Rahm hot-footed it from his home in Arizona to Spain so he could play his national open in Madrid.

He needed to play in the event to keep alive his hopes of representing the European Ryder Cup side in 2025.

Rahm told reporters in Madrid before he lost in an electric playoff to Angel Hidalgo that Kelley had given birth, although he chose not to divulge her name

Alaia is Rahm and Kelley's third child.

Their first son, Kepa, was born days before the 2021 Masters at Augusta National.

Rahm, just like Scottie Scheffler in April, declared he was happy to leave the major early to witness the birth in the event Kelley went past her due date.

Their second boy, Eneko, was born on 5 August 2022.

"So blessed to have welcomed our daughter Alaia Cahill Rahm into the world last week," Rahm wrote on X.

He added: "Mama and baby girl are both healthy and doing great, I can't wait to get back home to them."

Rahm is currently in Scotland ahead of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

The 2023 Masters champion is one of 14 LIV Golf players in the field

Before the tournament began, he was spotted chatting with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan

Rahm was banned by the PGA Tour in December 2023 after he joined LIV for a reported fee of $500m.

The golfer has expressed his desire to 'play freely' since then, but the chiefs of each tour are yet to agree a peace deal that would unite the elite men's game once again.

When and where did Jon Rahm marry Kelley Cahill?

Jon Rahm married his longtime partner Kelley Cahill in December 2019.

The wedding took place in Rahm's home region of Bilbao.

The ceremony reflected Rahm's Basque heritage, as Bilbao is part of the Basque Country, an area that holds great significance for him.

The couple had been together for several years before tying the knot, having met while both were student-athletes at Arizona State University.

The wedding was a relatively private event, with only close friends and family in attendance.
