Andalucia Masters prize money: How much Jon Rahm and co. are playing for on DP World Tour
Jon Rahm is a red-hot favourite to win a first Andalucia Masters title on home soil; check out the full prize money payout information for the latest DP World Tour event.
Jon Rahm is a red-hot favourite on home soil at the Andalucia Masters on the DP World Tour this week.
Rahm, 29, is competing in his fourth official DP World Tour counting event of the season to ensure he maintains his membership on the circuit and remains eligible to compete on the 2025 European Ryder Cup team.
The two-time major champion was let back onto the DP World Tour last month after having appealed his fines for having joined LIV Golf in 2024.
Rahm is aiming to win the Andalucia Masters for the first time in his career.
Other star names in the field include Danish duo Rasmus Hojgaard and Thorbjorn Olesen.
David Puig, who competes on Sergio Garcia's Fireballs GC on LIV Golf, is also competing on home soil as he bids to follow up on two straight top-five finishes on the DP World Tour in Spain and Scotland.
Last week's Open de France champion Dan Bradbury is also in the lineup, as too is recent European Masters champion Matt Wallace.
This week's event marks the 10th edition of the Estrela Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters, which is being hosted at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande for a second time.
The Andalucia Masters is the second DP World Tour event held in Spain on the 2024 Race to Dubai, following last month’s acciona Open de Espana hosted by Madrid.
Rahm lost out to his Spanish compatriot Angel Hidalgo in a playoff there.
Redemption is therefore very much on the mind of Rahm on home soil this week.
The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters is the penultimate event of the Back 9, with next week’s Genesis Championship marking the final regular event of the DP World Tour season.
It's therefore a key time in the season for those looking to either retain their DP World Tour cards or push themselves into the top 70 in the Race to Dubai Rankings to ensure their playing privileges into next month's DP World Tour Playoffs.
The total prize fund of the 2024 Andalucia Masters is $3.25m.
The winner will pocket $552,500.
