Tour pro to LIV Golf fan account: 'Here is that attention you're craving'
A Tour pro has fired back at an account for its post about a LIV Golf player on Twitter Saturday.
The PGA Tour's Max Homa is not a fan of LIV Golf "stan accounts" and fired back at one over its tweet about LIV Golf's Talor Gooch on Saturday.
Homa was in Louisiana this week for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, with teammate Collin Morikawa.
On the other side of the world, Gooch, a past partner of Homa's at the Zurich Classic, was playing in the rival LIV Golf Adelaide event.
Gooch, 31, has built a monstrous 10-stroke lead over 36 holes after shooting back-to-back rounds of 62, while Homa missed the cut with Morikawa.
This seemingly prompted one Twitter user to send a tweet comparing the two golfers.
It said:
Talor Gooch is everything Max Homa wants to be

And it appears that Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner, caught wind of the tweet directed at he and Gooch.
Homa, quite possibly the most avid Twitter user on the PGA Tour, responded to the LIV Golf "stan account" on Saturday.
The books I’ve read say I should give back to people in need so here is that attention ur craving. Talor is a great dad and a great golfer. Hope he wins this week by 20. These LIV stan accounts are truly the worst https://t.co/NLeaA8L06f

Gooch is currently at 20-under par at The Grange GC in Adelaide with one round left to play in the season's fourth LIV event. Sealing the deal on Sunday would mark his first career victory since joining Greg Norman's LIV Golf series.
Six players were tied for second, 10 strokes back.
