Chevron Championship prize money: How much they're playing for
Chevron Championship prize money: Check out how much they are playing for as the LPGA Tour heads to The Club at Carlton Woods for the first women's major of the year.
The first women's major of the year is underway at the 2025 Chevron Championship.
World No.1 Nelly Korda headlines the field at The Club at Carlton Woods in Texas but the American got off to a shocking start.
Korda rebounded in the second round to make the 36-hole cut though it feels extremely unlikely now she will challenge for the major.
At the halfway stage China's Yan Liu held a one-shot lead over American pairing Lindy Duncan and Sarah Schmelzel.
Liu hit a rare albatross on her way to taking the outright lead on day two.
England's Georgia Hall remains in contention.
Lexi Thompson, Minjee Lee, Ruoning Yin, Carlota Ciganda and Angel Yin are also lurking.
Along with the trophy, there is a huge amount of prize money on offer at the 2025 Chevron Championship.
This year, the purse has received a boost to a staggering $7.9m, meaning the winner will walk away with a cheque for $1.2m.
