Wife of PGA Tour pro responds to epic tantrum at the Players Championship
Adam Hadwin's wife Jessica had the perfect response after watching her husband's epic tantrum on day one of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
Adam Hadwin's wife Jessica rated her husband's epic tantrum on day one of the 2024 Players Championship as 10/10.
In case you have absolutely no idea what we are talking about let us quickly fill you in.
Hadwin, a PGA Tour pro with one win and $21,830,407 in earnings, was playing day one of the flagship event.
The Canadian had a pretty good streak going at the iconic venue, having never found the water at the 17th or 18th holes.
Until now.

It's fair to say that Hadwin had a wild few minutes that culminated in one of the most epic club tosses we have ever seen.
Following a birdie on No. 16, Hadwin made his way to the famous 17th with his score at level par.
On the 29th occasion he played the hole in competition, he came up well short and found the water.
That prompted his wife Jessica to post:
The streak* has been broken

And a few moments later things went from bad to worse for Hadwin.
His tee shot almost found the water and from there he attempted a pretty wild shot that didn't go as planned. Water. Again.
Then he launched his club into the drink. Sometimes golf clubs just need to die.

And of course, Jessica was on hand to respond:
I have seen the moment in question. If I’m going simply on the aesthetic of the toss….10/10

Hadwin eventually returned a scorecard for a 3-over 75 and will have his work to cut out to make the weekend.
