Tiger Woods' TGL team name has been revealed
Tiger Woods' four-man team in the TGL golf league will reportedly be called Jupiter Links GC, according to a report by GOLF.
Things are slowly taking shaping in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's golf league.
Earlier in the week McIlroy made some interesting claims about a potential LIV Golf switch for Jon Rahm whilst explaining he hopes the Saudis will be involved in a potential deal with the PGA Tour.
McIlroy is the founder of the TGL side Boston Common Golf. The 34-year-old Northern Irishman is joined in the team by Adam Scott, Tyrrell Hatton and Keegan Bradley.
Some of his critics joked it'd be the only time he wears a green jacket as he spoke of his plans and hopes for the league.
One thing can we can look forward to is the implementation of shot clocks.
Woods' side hasn't been revealed just yet but it looks as though the franchise will be named Jupiter Links GC.
GOLF's Sean Zak found that out by checking the trademark filings of TGL holdings.
The filings also appear to indicate the sixth and final San Francisco-based team will be called Golden State Golf Club.
Aside from McIlroy's team, only Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa have confirmed which side they will play for.
Thomas, who is currently in South Africa on holiday with his Ryder Cup teammate Max Homa ahead of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, will play for Atlanta Drive.
Morikawa has confirmed he will play for the Los Angeles side. Morikawa drew some criticism after he claimed getting the call to join the TGL side was similar to that of being a captain's pick at the Ryder Cup.
"I think this top it almost," Morikawa previously said.
