Mackenzie Hughes becomes latest PGA Tour star to WD from Farmers Insurance Open

Hughes has played in the last two PGA Tour events with lacklustre results.

He missed the cut at the Sony Open two weeks ago and then finished T58 at The American Express last week.

Hughes is a two-time PGA Tour winner.

He won his first title at the 2016 RSM Classic and then took another six years to win again at the 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship.

Hughes played in his first ever Presidents Cup match last year.

He took 1 point from a possible 4 as United States ran out a comfortable 18.5-11.5 victors over the Internationals.
