Jon Rahm told he's realising LIV decision has consequences over 'FOMO' comments
Jon Rahm was told by LIV Golf critic and Golf Channel reporter Eamon Lynch it's clear he is having some regret over his choice to join the rival league.
Jon Rahm 'sounds surprised' he's missing out on PGA Tour events that are meaningful to him.
At least that's the verdict of long-time LIV Golf critic, Golfweek columnist and Golf Channel contributor Eamon Lynch.
Lynch was discussing the recent comments Rahm made about his desires to see the fractured men's game brought back together.
Talks between the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabian PIF continued this week with key figures from both sides meeting in the Bahamas.
Tiger Woods was reportedly 'an engaged figure' during the talks with PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan and the two even played golf.

Despite the two sides finally talking it appears we are still a considerable length of time away from white smoke emerging from Ponte Vedra Beach.
As far as Lynch is concerned, Rahm believed he was going to be a catalyst to accelerate the peace talks.
In other words, he believes the Spaniard could get his LIV payday and come back to the PGA Tour with his pockets full of cash.
Rahm told reporters earlier in the week he has found watching some PGA Tour events difficult to watch. Especially at venues he has won at.
Lynch told the broadcast: "A little touch of FOMO there, isn't there? A little fear of missing out.
"It's interesting, he actually seems, I buy the argument that Taylor Zarzour [play-by-play commentator] was just making in our round table.
"I do think Jon Rahm believed he would be a catalyst when he left [and] that it would force things farther and faster down the road.
"And now Jon Rahm is realising that isn't actually going to happen anytime soon.
"There is progress, one assumes, coming from this meeting but it's not going to be hasty.
"Jon Rahm is not coming back to the PGA Tour with his pockets full anytime soon, regardless of what he may have been told by anyone who was encouraging him to go over there."
He added: "It seems a little poignant some of the comments [he made]. He realises he's missing out on events that mean something to him and mean something to his family.
"But ultimately this is a lesson that LIV guys have got to learn that decisions have consequences.
"Particularly around the world ranking [issue] you hear them talk as though they ought to be insulated from the decisions they made and the consequences of those decisions.
"This could not have been a clearer case for Jon Rahm. He'd had a year-and-a-half of advance notice what happens to PGA Tour players who go to LIV.
"You don't play regular PGA Tour events anymore - that may change at some point - but he sounds surprised by a decision that he made and the consequences of the decision that he shouldn't be."
Rahm will be reunited with his former PGA Tour peers next month at Augusta National.
The Masters beings on 11 April and the 29-year-old is attempting to become the fourth player in history to retain the title.
