The Masters field 2025: Who is playing at Augusta National?
The Masters field 2025: See the full list of players competing in the first major of the year at Augusta National in Georgia.
The 2025 Masters is finally here.
This year, the first men's major of the year has a total of 95 players in the field at Augusta National.
All eyes will be on Rory McIlroy once again as he embarks on his latest attempt to complete the career grand slam.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler is standing in his way though. As is Xander Schauffele.
PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama are expected to mount strong challenges for the green jacket.
There are also 12 LIV Golf recruits in the field, with the likes of Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau representing the breakaway tour's best hopes to land the major title.
Former champions Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson are also in good form.
The field for The Masters is determined by a combination of invitations, qualifications and special exemptions.
The top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking always get invited to The Masters.
Those inside the top 50 in the week prior to tournament week also secure their spots.
Michael Kim and former LIV recruit Laurie Canter just about did enough to secure their spots this week.
Ben Griffin was the unfortunate soul to just miss out.
GolfMagic has listed the full field for the 2025 Masters below.
The qualifying criteria is also at the bottom of this page.
Is Tiger Woods playing?
Five-time Masters champion Woods, 49, typically waits until tournament week to confirm whether or not he will tee it up.
The Hall of Famer has been restricted to limited appearances since his car crash in 2021.
So far this year, Woods has only made appearances in TGL.
He had intended to play at the Genesis Invitational but withdrew from the tournament following the death of his mother Kultida.
Woods was still expected to play the 2025 Masters, though.
However, he ruptured his Achilles on 11 March and will miss all of the majors this year.
