PGA Tour RIPPED by LIV Golf fans after posting this Adam Scott clip
A LIV Golf fan account has ripped the PGA Tour for posting a clip of Adam Scott on Twitter.
A LIV Golf fan account has slammed the PGA Tour for posting a certain clip of Adam Scott on Sunday, claiming LIV CEO Greg Norman "would never" do such thing.
As LIV Golf has gained momentum over the past year, so has the number of fan accounts dedicated to the league on Twitter.
On Tuesday, one account took issue with a specific clip posted of Scott by the official PGA Tour Twitter account.
Scott was in North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship, one of the season's designated events.
The 42-year-old had a solid performance at the tournament, finishing in a tie for fifth.
However, that's not to say he didn't have a few missteps along the way.
During Saturday's third round of event, the Australian made one of the worst shanks of his career.
He ended his 54th hole of the tournament with a 35-yard drive on the par-4 18th. It resulted in a tough bogey on the hole.

And it appears his mishits at Quail Hollow Club didn't end on Saturday.
During the final round, the PGA Tour posted a clip of Scott painfully missing an easy 2-footer.

And this resulted in one LIV fan account questioning why the PGA Tour would promote a mistake by one of its most popular stars.
They wrote:
They added that Norman "would never" do the same over on LIV.
I'm sure Adam Scott is thrilled that the PGA Tour is spending money on a promoted tweet to show him missing a 2 footer. Shark would never. https://t.co/zw3b8fHd47

Scott went on to finish the tournament eight strokes back of winner Wyndham Clark. He still took home $772,500 from the $20m purse.
He's also in the field this week for the AT&T Byron Nelson, the last PGA Tour event before next week's second major of 2023 with the PGA Championship.
Jordan Spieth, a hometown favourite of the event, withdrew from the AT&T Byron Nelson Monday with a wrist injury.
