Hilarious footage has emerged of Patrick Cantlay over a tee shot after he was accused of slow play.

Damning (?) footage emerges of 'slow' Patrick Cantlay after Masters drama!

Patrick Cantlay was accused at The Masters of slow play and the American appeared to blame everyone but himself.

Social media was ablaze when footage emerged of Viktor Hovland - who was paired with Cantlay in the final round - marching ahead.

Some pointed to the fact there was a clue Hovland was getting frustrated because the Norwegian was already greenside when Cantlay was playing his third into the par-5 13th.

In the end, the group took four hours and 50 minutes to play the final round. Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm were pictured looking somewhat unamused.

Koepka said it was brutal whilst Cantlay placed some of the blame of Hideki Matsuyama and Russell Henley.

"We finished the first hole, and the group in front of us was on the second tee when we walked up to the second tee, and we waited all day on pretty much every shot," Cantlay said defending himself before the RBC Heritage

He added the wind was gusting and the fact that every shot matters so much in a major it was inevitably going to be slow.

Even Monty got involved in the trolling!

This footage might need further scrutiny, though.

Judge for yourself in the footage below. A TikTok user has titled it 'Patrick Cantlay needs to be stopped'.

The 44-second clip shows Cantlay over a tee shot. I mean, just look at this.

Cantlay looks up and takes a peak at the fairway just the 13 times...

And the waggles.

We all hate slow play but this is pretty damning, isn't it?

It's surprising that Cantlay has been brought up with slow play accusations, given that he was involved in that hilarious clip at Kapalua a few years ago playing the Tournament of Champions.

"I've been wiating for this weather for 40 years," the hot mics picked up a then 27-year-old Cantlay saying at the 2020 PGA Tour event.

"These pampered f***s need to play. Two more holes and we can get a Mai Tai."
