Phil Mickelson asking for "shot a side" in Tiger Woods PPV money match
Mickelson fearful of his chances in $9 million Las Vegas match with Woods.
Phil Mickelson must be thankful his $9 million match with Tiger Woods isn't happening until November 23, but that hasn't stopped Lefty already asking for a couple of shots ahead of the PPV clash.

Mickelson was speaking ahead of this week's Ryder Cup where he teams up with Woods, fresh off his first victory in more than five years at the Tour Championship. To compound matters, Mickelson finished 24 strokes adrift of Woods and in last place on 13-over par.
But while there's still two months until their hotly-anticipated Thanksgiving match, Mickelson has begun early negotiations.
“I’m trying to negotiate a shot a side,” Mickelson said, chuckling. “It didn’t go over well, but I’m still working on it. I’ve got some negotiating to do, given how well he played last week.”
Mickelson also tweeted this:
I just played with Tiger today and it is the best I’ve ever seen him swing the club. It is so on plane and solid. I’ll be asking for a shot a side for our Thanksgiving match. I doubt I’ll get it though.
