Spherical Blade launches six putters
Unique designs on sale from
UK putter brand Spherical Blade, whose innovative curved faces claim to impart more consistent roll on the ball, are unveiling six model designs, including ?a classically-styled S-Blade Limited Edition half-mallet putter with a matt black head (£129).
The gentle convex curve running along the length of the face helps widen the sweet spot and minimises the effect of any less-than-perfect stroke - increasing the chances of the ball staying on its intended target path, say the makers.
Other new models in the range include the twin-pronged S-Blade 'BlackEye 2010' with a bear claw design 'to deliver increased lateral balance and weight distribution,' and the heavier-headed S-Blade 'Crescent' putter, with its heel-mounted crook shaft.
As well as the Arrowhead mallet and the offset Emperor, the 2010 Spherical Blade collection is completed by the S-Blade 'Classic' inspired by the oldest putter head style in the game. All have gunmetal heads and are priced at £119. Each model is available in lengths 30-36 inches and a choice of five different grips – three Golf Pride versions and two 2Thumb models.
