Now its' MacGreg Norman!
Establish brand re-signs The Shark for the first time in 30 years.
MacGregor Golf has announced the addition of double Open champion Greg Norman to its Tour staff. He joins Aaron Baddeley, Jose Maria Olazabal and Lee Janzen and will put 12 MacGregor clubs – including a MacTec NVG driver, V-Foil M675 forged irons and V-Foil Tour wedges in his bag.
"Greg’s the gold standard," said Barry Schneider, owner and chief executive of MacGregor. "He’s about the best in what he does."
Says Norman, who played MacGregor in the 1970s: "With the technology coming out of their R&D in Japan, MacGregor understand what the masses really need in a set of golf clubs. This is a wonderful opportunity as I wind down my career over the next couple years to be able to give something back to the game of golf."
The former world No. 1 will be 50 in February, making him eligible for the Champions Tour, though he has been hampered by a sore back and isn’t competing in this week’s Australian Open in Sydney.
