LIV Golf Jeddah: Fields, teams, live streams, players, prize purse
The inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series has reached its final individual event which will take place at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club near Jeddah.
We are at the penultimate event of the first LIV Golf Invitational Series and what a sensational, turbulent and controversial five-month period it has been.
The Saudi-backed series, commissioned by Greg Norman, has grabbed some of the biggest names and some of the best players in the world and they will be competing at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club from October 14-16.
Dustin Johnson heads into the seventh event as the individual champion and benefactor of the $18 million prize purse. He has tasted success before at this venue by winning the Saudi International twice and coming second once in the four years it has been played.

The course is located in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia. It was first opened in 2017 and it has also hosted the Aramco Saudi Ladies International previously won by Lydia Ko and Georgia Hall.
Eugenio Chacarra-Lopez will enter the tournament as LIV's freshest winner after a three-shot victory at Stonehill Golf Club in Bangkok. He earned $4.75 after also winning the team format with Fireballs GC.
After the event in Jeddah has concluded, we will move on to the season-ending Team Championship which will take place at the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral Miami from October 28-30.
According to various reports, there is set to be a cut introduced to this event as LIV Golf continues its pursuit of Official World Golf Ranking points.
This will also be the second LIV event to be sanctioned by the MENA Tour. Both tours have started a strategic alliance together in order to finally obtain OWGR points, however, the OWGR stated that they were given "insufficient notice" to review their application.
This has since caused outrage from the likes of Greg Norman, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka who feel LIV Golf meet the criteria to gain OWGR points.
