Tiger Woods off to blistering fast start on Day 3 at The Players
Woods narrowly makes cut at TPC Sawgrass, then puts foot down early on Saturday.
Tiger Woods may have made the cut on the number at 1-under par, but he is putting his foot firmly on the gas on Day Three of The Players Championship.
Woods birdied five of his first seven holes, before two-putting at both the par-5 9th and par-5 11th, and then adding an eighth birdie of the day at the short par-4 12th to progress to 9-under for the tournament and into the top 10 - but that's still six strokes adrift of runaway leader Webb Simpson, who tees off later this evening.
Take a look at some of Woods' Saturday highlights so far, which has consisted of long, accurate driving and a very hot putter...
