Tour pro loses his cool with rude pro-am partner: "I hate him"
Richard Mansell got pranked big time when he was paired up with the worst Pro-Am partner EVER.
The DP World Tour and James Morrison pulled an absolute blinder before the Irish Open when they paired up Richard Mansell with comedian and prankster Josh Pieters in the pro-am.
It's fair to say the results were hilarious.
Armed with a team of actors and cameramen to catch every interaction, Pieters displayed some horrific on-course etiquette to see just how far he could push Mansell before he snapped.
The comedian started the day strong by turning up ten minutes late for his tee time, and it would only get worse for the English pro from there.
From asking to use his driver to enquiring if he could also tee it up from the pro tees because none of the holes were long enough for him to let rip, Pieters was pulling out every trick in the book to get under his playing partner's skin.
Taking pointers from DP World Tour pro Morrison, Pieters flexed his comedic muscles at every turn, and it's fair to say Mansell certainly bit on a few occasions.
Making outlandish statements about his desires to one day go pro, Pieters was in the ear of Mansell all day. From calling every shot he hit "an absolute biscuit" to taking a brief but loud Duolingo lesson as the pro was about to chip, the prankster managed to irritate Mansell so much that he even lodged a formal complaint with the match referee.
Declaring not only that he hated him but also that he was "the worst Pro-Am partner I've ever had", Mansell didn't shy away from revealing to Pieters on the final hole that "I was about to knock you out".
The five-hour joke eventually climaxed on the 18th green when Morrison joined his friend and fellow pro to reveal the joke, and it's fair to say Mansell certainly saw the funny side.
Upon the video being released on the DP World Tour Twitter, fellow pros, including Min Woo Lee and Ross Fisher, also saw the funny side, sounding off in the comments with their approval.
