Si Woo Kim ends up on the GROUND after Keith Mitchell's errant shot at US Open!
Keith Mitchell's errant shot ended up on an entirely different hole - where Si Woo Kim was - at the US Open Saturday.
Si Woo Kim ended up on the ground after Keith Mitchell hit an errant shot during Saturday's third round of the US Open.
From a pair of opening-round record-setting 62s to club-tosses gone wrong, the third major championship of 2023 hasn't been without a bit of excitement.
And Saturday's third round was no different.
Mitchell, 31, was even-par for the tournament when he was set to take his second shot on the par-5 14th.
The hole was playing 627 yards on Saturday, and Mitchell had 284 to go after his drive.
However, his shot went terribly wrong, and ended up flying into a nearby tee box where it nearly hit Bryson DeChambeau but did hit Kim.
Thankfully, Mitchell's shot didn't appear to injure him, but Kim still decided to have some fun with it.
The 27-year-old hilariously fell to the ground in fake pain as Mitchell ran up.
But there appears to be no ill-will between Kim and Mitchell and instead, the pair hugged it out and appeared to laugh about it, as well.

Mitchell still miraculously managed to make par on the hole on his way to a 1-over par 71 as Kim recorded the same score himself.
The pair were part of a large group tied for 20th at even-par after 54 holes that included Shane Lowry and Brooks Koepka.
