Golf fans shocked by what Patrick Reed did to a local caddie at US Open venue
LIV Golf's Patrick Reed had the nicest possible gesture for a local caddie ahead of the US Open.
LIV Golf's Patrick Reed reportedly gave a local caddie a $7,500 tip after being so impressed with the information he received at Los Angeles Country Club, scene of this week's US Open.
It will be interesting to see if Reed decides to share such a story with Matt Kuchar when the Americans join Si Woo Kim for the opening two rounds of the third major of the year.
For those none the wiser, we'll just leave this one here.
Reed, 32, apparently headed to LA Country Club at the start of the month to get his first taste of the course ahead of the US Open.
According to a tweet posted by the popular Flushing It account, Reed played a round of 18 holes and hired a local caddie.
Reed left the course with a lighter wallet, but plenty of helpful information to take into this week's championship.
