Golf fans stunned at ticket prices to attend TGL hosted by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy
PGA Tour fans shocked to learn the ticket prices to attend Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new TGL in 2025.
Golf fans are up in arms after ticket prices to attend Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new TGL were confirmed on a day where the fixture list was released.
TGL, a venture formed by sports executive Mike McCarley, Woods and McIlroy, has confirmed ticket prices are set at $160 for the public.
Pre-sale TGL ticket prices will be available on Monday 28 October.
General sale tickets will be available a day later.
All TGL matches will take place at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, on prime time Mondays and Tuesdays.
The first match will tee off on 7 January 2025.
TGL released its full regular season fixture list earlier today.
Woods and McIlroy's teams will not meet until the fourth week of action on 27 January.
A number of golf fans are not impressed by the ticket prices, at least judging by the responses to NUCLR Golf's post on the subject above.

TGL was due to get underway earlier this season but the stadium roof collapsed and it resulted in a 12-month suspension to the indoor golf league.
The tech-infused golf league is in partnership with the PGA Tour and ESPN.
No LIV Golf players can therefore take part.
It remains to be seen what happens to the future of TGL given the PGA Tour is currently still working on a framework agreement with LIV Golf's bankrollers, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) at the moment.
The hefty ticket price for a single TGL match comes a week after the PGA of America confirmed a huge hike in daily ticket prices for the Ryder Cup.
Pre-sale daily ticket prices have currently been set at a whopping $749.51 from Friday September 26 to Sunday September 28, 2025.
The PGA of America is also planning to charge volunteers $350 at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York.
