Tony Finau's wife responds to LIV Golf rumours after walking out of Tiger Woods event

Tony Finau's wife Alayna Galea'i-Finau has taken to social media to respond to heavy rumours linking the PGA Tour star with a move to LIV Golf in 2025 after her husband withdrew from Tiger Woods' event this week. 

Six-time PGA Tour winner Finau, 35, decided to WD from Woods' annual 20-man Hero World Challenge in The Bahamas an event staged on the PGA Tour albeit an unofficial tournament on the schedule. 

Within minutes of Finau's withdrawal, the American's name was heavily linked with a move away from the PGA Tour to the Saudi-bankrolled LIV Golf League in 2025.

According to both Golf Lover UK and Pro Golf Critic, who have been the first to break a number of big stories and transfers on LIV Golf in recent times, Finau is currently in talks with a move to join RangeGoats GC. 

GLUK and PGC believe that to be the case especially after news was confirmed yesterday that Thomas Pieters had left the RangeGoats to join Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC.

Finau's wife Alayna has since taken to TikTok to respond to the rumours linking her husband with a move to LIV Golf next season.

It's fair to say she left something of a cryptic clue as to whether Finau is going to remain on the PGA Tour or not.

Finau is seen walking into the video, too. 

Alayna mimes the words to a viral TikTok post in the video clip below. 

"My life is complicated enough, the last thing I need is more drama," mimes Alayna. 

Finau then mimes: "Hey Miley [photo of LIV Golf rumour emerges]..."

Alayna says: "Helloooooooo drama..."

Other transfer talk doing the rounds this week involves the potential of Adam Scott and Thomas Detry leaving the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf in 2025.

The biggest shock of those two would undoubtedly be Scott, especially since the 16-time PGA Tour winner is currently sits on the Board of Directors at the PGA Tour and he is in the field for Woods and Rory McIlroy's brand new TGL in January 2025. 

LIV Golf captains are currently busy doing business in the transfer market as they look to strengthen and rebuild their teams for the new season.

The 2025 LIV Golf League season starts up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in early February. 

Who is Tony Finau's wife?

Finau's wife is called Alayna. 

The couple got married in May 2012. 

They have five children together: Jraice, Leilene Aiaga, Tony, Sage and Sienna-Vee.
