Canada's Nick Taylor claimed his fifth PGA Tour victory at the Sony Open in dramatic fashion.

The Canadian, 36, chipped in on for eagle on the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Colombia's Nico Echavarria.

Both players made birdie on the first extra hole but when they repeated it, it was Echavarria who missed a crucial putt.

"[It was] unfortunate Nico to hit a three-putt there to open the door for me," Taylor said.

"But knowing I can rise to the occasion, it's pretty fun."

Taylor's last PGA Tour win came at the WM Phoenix Open in 2024 where he defeated Charley Hoffman in a playoff.

He also needed a playoff to beat England's Tommy Fleetwood at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.

Elsewhere, Stephan Jaeger, J.J. Spaun, Eric Cole and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley also finished inside the top-10.

The Sony Open had a total prize purse of $8.7m, meaning Taylor took home the top prize of $1,566,000.

GolfMagic has listed all of the payout information below.
