Rory McIlroy joked he didn't believe Jimmy Walker was 'that strong' as the major champ was filmed hilariously snapping his putter at the Valero Texas Open.
Rory McIlroy joked he didn't believe Jimmy Walker was 'that strong' as he watched the former major champion snap his putter during the second round of the Valero Texas Open.
McIlroy moved up the leaderboard on day two at TPC San Antonio with a 3-under par 69.
After 36 holes he trailed the PGA Tour rookie Akshay Bhatia by five strokes.
Bhatia extended his lead at the summit with a 2-under 70 to sit on a remarkable 11-under total.

The 22-year-old is searching for his second win on the circuit. He previously won the 2023 Barracuda Championship.
Brendon Todd, Russell Henley, Denny McCarthy, Tommy Fleetwood, Adam Schenk and Peter Kuest are also inside the top-10.
Collin Morikawa and Rickie Fowler were among those to miss the cut.
The aforementioned McIlroy joined the broadcast after completing his round where he watched Walker's hilarious outburst of frustration.
Walker was putting for birdie at No. 8 and, after watching his attempt miss low, decided to take his anger out on the flatstick.
Sometimes golf clubs just need to die.
The 2016 PGA Championship winner could only laugh.
He managed to sink the par putt but was 3-over par after eight holes.
That prompted McIlroy to joke: "We've all been there."
Smylie Kauffman then chimed in: "I don't think I expected the club to snap in half, what about you, Rors?"
"I didn't think Jimmy was that strong," he replied.

What McIlroy said about his round:
"I mean, I think, you know, I could stand here and say I wish I was a few shots better and missed a few putts and whatever, but it was tricky conditions.
"Obviously Akshay's playing really well, but apart from that, no one's really lighting the world on fire. Yeah, [I have go to] just keep grinding away.
"I've only made one bogey over two days, which I'm really pleased with.
"Would have been nice to make a few more birdies, but pretty happy with the last two days."
