Padraig Harrington hits shot off his knees out of a tree in R1 of Houston Open!
Ireland's Padraig Harrington emulated late great Seve Ballesteros by hitting a shot off his knees in the first round of the Houston Open on the PGA Tour.
Padraig Harrington hit an epic shot out of a tree from off his knees in the first round of the Texas Children's Houston Open on the PGA Tour.
Harrington, 52, sprayed his tee shot way left on the par-5 16th and the Irishman's ball ended up located under a tree.
Instead of taking a drop, Harrington got down on his knees to chop his ball back across the fairway and into the intermediate rough with a fairway wood.
He went on to save a par.

Harrington's shot off his knees had shades of late great Seve Ballesteros at the Trophee Lancome in 1997.
Harrington is currently level par in the first round of the Texas Children's Houston Open.
That sees him lie six shots off the pace currently set by Taylor Moore and Wilson Furr.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler is just one shot off the pace as he looks to become the first player since Dustin Johnson in 2017 to win three straight tournaments on the PGA Tour.
Harrington cracked up golf fans with his impression of Scheffler last week.
That was before he went on to wrap up a seventh win on the PGA Tour Champions at the Hoag Classic.
Earlier this month, Harrington claimed he can get 99% of golfers in the world down to single figures.
All they need to do is tune in to his popular 'Paddy's Golf Tips' series on YouTube.
Harrington's dedicated YouTube golf tuition channel has 128,000 subscribers to date.
The three-time major champion has uploaded loads of videos to his YouTube page and regularly updates the channel with new content to "help the weekend warrior."
Harrington believes to get down to a 9-handicap or less is "not that hard".
