His ball came to rest awkwardly next to the bunker and the ball was severely below his feet.
The Northern Irishman didn't love his approach and was 40 feet from the pin.

Matsuyama, on the other hand, hit a beauty to eight feet and converted his birdie putt.

Fleetwood has bounced back with an opening bogey with back-to-back birdies.
