Former U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover says he joked to Ludvig Aberg that he's 'got nothing going for him' after the Swede picked up his second PGA Tour title.

Aberg made four birdies in his final six holes last week at Torrey Pines to snatch the Genesis Invitational by one stroke from American Maverick McNealy.

Glover - who chatted with Aberg before their TGL match on Monday - reckons the sky is truly the limit for the 25-year-old Swede.

"Ludvig's pretty good at golf," Glover told reporters in Florida. "Shame he's not handsome, too. He's got nothing going for him."

He added: "I was impressed as I've ever been watching anybody. I told him after, more for his demeanour and his composure than his game.

"It's impressive to watch somebody that young with that much game and that much success already and still do it with his humility and grace."

It's not just Glover that Aberg drew high praise from.

Tiger Woods, who presented Aberg with the trophy after his victory last week, said 'not a lot can go wrong' with his golf swing.

Aberg labelled Woods 'my G.O.A.T' during his winner's news conference on Sunday evening.

Hot mics later picked up an hilarious exchange between the duo as Aberg clutched the trophy.

"Is this one of your favourite Tour stops?" asked Aberg to Woods. "It is, I've won here ... What is it? Seven Buicks and one U.S. Open.

"And one junior world when it used to be played here. That was a f---ing long time, ago, right?".

Aberg is not in the field at this week's Mexico Open

He will be back in action at the Arnold Palmer Invitational over 6-9.

The API is the fourth of eight signature events on the 2025 schedule, featuring a purse of $20m and a top prize of $4m. It is the same amount Aberg picked up for his victory at the Genesis Invitational.
