PGA Tour star Lucas Glover has ripped into AimPoint Express golf putting method and called for it to be "banned" on the PGA Tour.

Glover, 45, made his feelings be known while appearing on the Lucas Glover Show on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio ahead of this week's WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona.

The American's vocal rant on AimPoint comes nearly two years after Paige Spiranac ripped into the putting method at the 2023 Masters.

Spiranac considered AimPoint was contributing to "brutal" pace of play at Augusta National.

What is AimPoint Express?

AimPoint Express is a green-reading system designed to help golfers accurately predict break and improve putting consistency.

Developed by Mark Sweeney, it simplifies the process by using finger placement to determine the correct aim point.

Golfers assess slope using their feet, assign a slope value (1-5), and then use their fingers at arm’s length to find the ideal target.

The AimPoint Express putting method has most certainly grown in popularlity in recent years, especially with a number of players on the PGA Tour.

The likes of Adam Scott, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Tom Kim and current U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley are just seven big-name PGA Tour stars who consistently use AimPoint on the greens in 2025.

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka has also dabbled with AimPoint over on LIV Golf, too.

But in the eyes of 2009 U.S. Open champion Glover, he considers the AimPoint Express putting method "statistically hasn't helped anybody" on the PGA Tour.

The six-time PGA Tour winner also believes "it's kind of rude to be up near the hole and stomping around."

Glover concludes AimPoint Express "needs to be banned" so that it helps to improve pace of play on the PGA Tour "because it takes forever."

It remains to be seen what U.S. Ryder Cup captain Bradley makes of Glover's latest comments about AimPoint, a method he uses on the PGA Tour.

... especially if Glover is hoping for one of Bradley's six wildcard picks in the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team in September.
