Rising DP World Tour star Angel Ayora has reportedly turned down a huge offer to join the LIV Golf League in 2025, per Spanish publication Ten Golf.

Ayora, 20, is considered by many as one of the brighest young sparks to have emerged on the DP World Tour for this season.

After winning the Rosa Challenge Tour in September, the talented Spaniard has since racked up a further four top-10 finishes the past two months.

One of those included an impressive T2 at the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final and a T6 a the BMW Australian PGA, the first event of the new 2025 DP World Tour season.

LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has wanted to target a number of the biggest rising talents around the world to come and join his breakaway league.

Ayora had been earmarked as one of his most important signings for 2025 but the World No.238 has turned down the offer according to Ten Golf.

But Ayora reportedly wants to continue his progress on the DP World Tour this season.

Ayora was reportedly offered a two-year contract on Martin Kaymer's Cleeks GC, which also comprises himself, Richard Bland and Adrian Meronk.

Cleeks GC also had Kalle Samooja but he was relegated from the league in 2024.

Kaymer will now be on the hunt for a replacement.

The latest update on Ayora snubbing a move to LIV Golf comes a month after his childhood idol Sergio Garcia confirmed to GolfMagic that fellow Spaniard Eugenio Chacarra was not coming back onto Fireballs GC for 2025.

Garcia is currently finalising the last spot in his team to replace Chacarra.

Fireballs GC also comprises Abraham Ancer and David Puig.

The 2025 LIV Golf season starts up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the first week of February.
