Leaked: Martin Kaymer's new LIV Golf League signing for Cleeks GC
Cleeks GC captain Martin Kaymer has made a new signing for the 2024 LIV Golf League season.
Martin Kaymer has signed Finland's Kalle Samooja to his Cleeks GC for the 2024 LIV Golf League season.
The news has not yet been made official by LIV Golf - or Cleeks GC - but a golf fan by the name of Hunter Biden took a screenshot of a LIV Golf Story post that ended up getting quickly deleted on Monday January 8, 2024.
The photo saw Kaymer lined up alongside Richard Bland, who was already on Cleeks GC, and the new signing of Samooja.

Samooja, 35, earned his status for the 2024 LIV Golf League season after winning last month's LIV Golf Promotions event.
That saw him collect $200,000.
The tournament was held over three days and 72 holes, with cuts made after rounds one and two, and the top 20 players from an original field of 73 took part in a 36-hole shootout on Sunday's final round where they competed for just three places on the Saudi-backed circuit.
Zimbabwe’s Kieran Vincent and Japan’s Jinichiro Kozuma finished second and third to earn their playing privileges for 2024.
Samooja now joins two-time major champion Martin Kaymer and Richard Bland on Cleeks GC, with the final fourth member of their team yet to be confirmed.
For what it’s worth, it looks like Kalle Samooja is joining the Cleeks. LIV put this on their IG story, but deleted it shortly after. I grabbed a screenshot. @flushingitgolf @LIVGolfNation @ProGolfCritic @GolfloverUK pic.twitter.com/LW2koHOcQ6

Bland was recently mocked by golf fans for a 40-second video post he filmed ahead of the new season.
In June 2022, Samooja won the Porsche European Open shooting a final-round course-record 64 to claim his first DP World Tour title.
Samooja is ranked 298th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
There are still a number of places to be filled on several teams ahead of the new LIV Golf season.
The most notable ones are the players set to fill Jon Rahm's new LIV Golf team for 2024 following the Spaniard's shock move last month.
With the 2024 LIV Golf League season fast approaching in Mayakoba in several weeks time, we likely won't have to wait too much longer for an update.
Rahm is believed to have signed a deal to join LIV Golf in the region of £450m over a five-year deal.
Some believe the figure is as high as $600m.
If the figures are indeed true then it makes Rahm the world's highest paid athlete entering 2024.
