Dustin Johnson's LIV Golf team makes announcement ahead of The Open
Dustin Johnson's LIV Golf team, 4 Aces GC, has announced a new deal.
Dustin Johnson's LIV Golf team, 4 Aces GC, has announced a new deal with Magellan Jets during LIV Golf Andalucia in Spain, according to Sports Business Journal.
The new deal makes the company the official private aviation partner of Johnson's team.
Johnson and his teammates Patrick Reed, Harold Varner III and Pat Perez will now wear the Magellan Jets logo on their apparel during both LIV Golf and non-LIV Golf tournaments.
Former World No.1 and two-time major champion Johnson has been wearing Magellan's logo on his apparel since the 2024 US PGA in May.

Johnson has also worked with Magellan Jets previously on his own private travel.
Reed has also flown with them in the past too.
Magellan Jets has delved into team sports before having two years ago inked a deal with the Boston Red Sox.
"Our customers were starting to ask for access to more golf events and we started to learn more about the 4Aces and LIV," Magellan CEO Joshua Hebert told SBJ.
"The whole thing is how do we find access for our members. DJ was already flying with us and saying great things about us, so it was a win win."
The 4 Aces' deal with Magellan marks their second big deal following a recent partnership with Extracurricular, which provides the team's apparel.
Johnson's team, which won the inaugural 2022 season, have been badly struggling for form in 2024.
The 4 Aces are currently ranked 10th out of 13 teams in the season-long standings.
Things could be about to get even worse for Johnson's team after yesterday's news.
According to Sports Law Attorney John Nucci, the University of Alabama has filed an opposition to Johnson's 4 Aces GC logo citing it resembles it too closely.
It remains to be seen whether Johnson sticks or twists with his current four-man lineup on the 4 Aces in 2025, especially with a couple of his team members fighting the drop zone with just a handful of LIV Golf League events remaining on the schedule.
Johnson opened with a 73 in the first round of LIV Golf Andalucia on Friday.
That puts him some way off the pace.
He landed his third career title on LIV Golf earlier this season in Las Vegas.
But he has only notched three top-10s all season.
DJ missed the cut at both The Masters and US Open this season, and he came T43 at the US PGA.
After competing in Spain, the 24-time PGA Tour winner will head over to Royal Troon, Scotland, to compete in the 152nd Open Championship next week.
Johnson, who has never won The Open, is eligible to compete in the final major of the season as a result of his Masters victory in 2020.
DJ signed with LIV Golf for a fee in the region of $150m in 2022.
He also tore up his PGA Tour card.
Johnson, 40, has hinted in recent times he will likely quit competitive golf well before the age of 50 so that he can spend more time with his kids and wife Paulina Gretzky.
