Three of the best: Winter mitts 2014
We look at three of the best winter mitts on the market in 2014

Wison Staff Winter Mittens - £19.99
If you’re looking for a glove which offers both warmth and wind protection, then here it is.
The Wilson Staff Winter Mittens offer everything your hands need on those frosty, winter days on the course or on the range.
It has a tough outer layer which protects you from the wind and the fleece-lined inside keeps your hands nice and toasty.
But you don’t need to worry about your hands overheating and clamming up. A small zip on the side allows a breeze to pass through the gloves to keep you hands fresh and ready for action.
Unlike other winter mitts, there are two fastening chords on the glove to make sure they don’t slip off your hands. While this may seem excessive to some, I found them simple and easy to use and they didn’t get in the way.
The gloves look great. An understated Wilson Staff logo sits on the top of the glove, which is predominantly black, but there are also splashes of red in the glove used in the stitching and on the opening of the glove.
The middle of the glove and inside of the thumb incorporate a wet-suit like material which offers extra grip.
Verdict
An all-round golf mitt. Provides protection from the wind as well as warmth with all the extras needed.
