WATCH: Jordan Spieth has unique interaction with young fan at Memorial
A fan had a unique ask for the three-time major champion this week at the Memorial Tournament.
Jordan Spieth had a unique interaction with a fan at the Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
Spieth, ranked No. 11 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), is one of many top players in the field for this week's designated PGA Tour event.
The winner on Sunday will take home $3.6m from the lucrative $20m purse.
The tournament is also hosted by 18-time major winner Jack Nicklaus at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
After rounds of 69 and 72, Spieth, 29, was five strokes back of 36-hole leader Justin Suh, who was at 8-under par, going into Saturday's third round.
However, despite shooting a second straight even-par 72 on Saturday, Spieth was able to close the gap to the lead.
Suh, 25, ended up shooting a 5-over par 77 and dropped down to 3-under, while Word No. 3 Rory McIlroy recorded a 2-under 70 to jump into a share of the third round lead with David Lipsky and Si Woo Kim.
The trio are tied at 6-under par after 54 holes at Jack's Place.
After Spieth's round, the American was seen signing autographs for young fans in a video captured by the PGA Tour and posted to their Instagram.
And during that post-round autograph signing, the 13-time PGA Tour winner was asked a unique question by one of the young fans.
"I just want to play rock, paper, scissors," the fan said.
Naturally, Spieth quickly went into game-mode.
After two rounds, it was the fan that ultimately came out on top, besting the three-time major champion with a 'rock' over 'scissors'.
